Specialized in large products
FOMA is particularly specialized in large plastic products with injection volumes of 5 to 140 litres, weighing 3 to 100 kg. Clamping forces of up to 3000 tonnes are no exception. Depending on the size of the product, the injection moulding process is designed on the basis of a high-pressure or a low-pressure technique.
The advantage of this technology is predominantly in the flexibility of our machine and mould concept: clamping/mould combinations opening in multiple directions and custom-designed injection equipment. Thanks to this principle, you can manufacture complex products with a variety of versions, in a simple and economic way. Foma combines this flexible concept with a unique locking system of the clamping unit and a high degree of operational safety.
