From assembly to production testing and fine-tuning

When the individual parts are manufactured the equipment is assembled in the Foma workshop. The assembly includes the mechanical as well as electrical and hydraulic assembly. During assembly all VanderPloeg Group services are available for solving any issue that may arise.

Once assembly is complete, the equipment is tested. The moulds are installed and the equipment is tested at a commercial scale. Foma can make water-cooling equipment and sufficient power available to test the large machines as well. During the testing period it is possible to manufacture products for a roll-out or do the first fine-tuning of the product. For example, all facilities are available to re-cut a mould to the right product dimensions.
By doing these product optimizations at Foma, disturbance of the customer’s production is minimal and the project remains on the fastest track.
