Our engineers work with modern equipment and simulation software. To determine the required design parameters for an injection moulding process, we can perform mould-filling simulations. The results of these studies are used as design data for the equipment. The resulting data includes clamping force, injection pressure, cooling time, etc. In the design of the equipment we use FEM studies and 3D software to make sure the design parameters are transformed into an efficient design.

The automation engineers are able to transform the wishes of the customer into a user-friendly Man-Machine Interface, programmed with practical software. Since the software is written in-house, most of the customer requirements can be integrated into the operating system.

Pre-Engineering studies

To be able to make a good judgment about the technical and financial feasibility of a project, we can perform an engineering study. Such a study gives both the customer and Foma more certainty without investing large sums of money.
