Case 1 Production of Medium Duty Pallet

Project-task:

Design the most cost effective and reliable method of connecting two Twinwall corrugated pipes to each other.

Process: Pre-condition a cutted pipe from a corrugator machine,
Pick up the pipe and insert the pipe automatically into a
clamping unit of a custom build injection moulding
machine, inject a socket to the pipe and automatically stack
it into a transport-package.
Injection unit: Purchase and Integration of an Injection Unit from an IMM supplier
Clamping unit: 600 ton clamping unit with 2 opening directions
Product-removal: Integration of 3-axis robot, automatic sprue-cutting and pipe-stacking equipment
Control-system: Injection Unit, clamping unit and handling system under by Foma control-system
Mould-types: Up to 7 diameters and 2 lenghts
